Let's move forward together!

Los Banos is a community built on hard work, strong families, and neighbors who look out for one another. I have lived in Los Banos since the early 1990s and have had the opportunity to serve our community in local leadership roles.
Through my professional career in public affairs, state government, and the private sector, I have worked with local governments, businesses, and communities to solve problems and move projects forward. Because of that experience and my deep connection to Los Banos, I believe our city stands at an important crossroads as we continue growing into the second largest city in Merced County.
For too long, many of our challenges have been addressed only after they become problems. Los Banos deserves leadership that plans ahead rather than constantly operating in reaction mode.
Our city also has tremendous potential that has yet to be fully realized. While Los Banos has long been described as the gateway to the Valley, our location also places us at the gateway to the coast - connecting the Central Valley to the Bay Area and beyond.
With thoughtful planning, strong public safety, a vibrant local economy, and an engaged community, Los Banos can grow into a city that creates opportunity, strengthens neighborhoods, and builds pride for generations to come - while honoring our agricultural roots and the farming community that has long been the backbone of our region.
By planning responsibly, strengthening public safety, supporting local economic opportunity, and encouraging community participation, we can begin Building Los Banos Together.
District 3 reflects the heart of Los Banos. It includes neighborhoods where families have lived for generations and many of the places residents rely on every day. Within the district are several schools, including Los Banos High School, Los Banos Junior High, Los Banos Elementary, Westside Union Elementary, and R.M. Miano Elementary. The area is also home to community gathering spaces like City Park, Little Page Park, College Greens Park, Rancho Dos Amigos Park, and Cresthills Park. Important civic institutions such as City Hall, the Police Department, the Community Center, Henry Miller Plaza, and Los Banos Fairgrounds are located here, along with the historic downtown and Sixth Street corridor that continue to serve as a center of local business and community life.
District 3 is the anchoring piece of our city. It tells the story of Los Banos’ history through its historic neighborhoods and downtown, brings people together through our schools, parks, and community spaces, and continues to help build the sense of community that will carry Los Banos forward for future generations.

Public safety is the foundation of a strong community. As Los Banos grows, we must ensure our police, fire, and emergency services have the staffing, equipment, and support they need to keep our residents safe.
Los Banos is growing, and that growth must be guided by thoughtful planning. Development should be matched with the infrastructure and services our community needs so growth strengthens our neighborhoods and prepares our city for the future.
Los Banos can grow beyond being known as a bedroom community. By supporting local businesses, strengthening our historic downtown, and leveraging our location between the Central Valley and the coast, we can create new economic opportunities for our residents.
Los Banos has always been a place where neighbors know each other and take pride in their community. Investing in parks, events, and shared spaces-including future amenities like a community amphitheater-can help bring residents together and strengthen that sense of pride.
Strong leadership begins with listening. By encouraging open communication, transparency, and community participation, we can build greater trust between city government and the residents it serves.
My thoughts about Los Banos and why I should be appointed to the District 3 seat in 2025.
How about come prepared to explain, in clear and measurable terms, why you deserve a raise.
